I'm sure by now that most people have at least heard about the movie Zeitgeist. It is one of the most controversial documentaries that has ever been created. Whether or not you believe everything said in this film is completely accurate, I guarantee it will change your perception of religion, government and our direction as human beings. After watching these two movies you will realize that the entire reality that you have known, the reality that most people have submitted their entire lives to, just might not be as stable and correct as you once thought.

Zeitgeist: The Movie

The first part of Zeitgeist: The Movie is entitled "The Greatest Story Ever Sold" and describes how Christianity is nothing more than astrological myths and traditions that is derived from older religions. They show how the old Egyptian God Horus, has the exact same similarities as Jesus Christ such as, virgin birth, born on December 25, 12 disciples, resurrected after 3 days, and performing of miracles. In this movie they also show how Christianity is a Gnostic myth that was historized by the Roman Empire for social control of Europe. The following is said in conclusion: "Christianity, along with all other theistic belief systems, empowers those who know the truth, but use the myth to manipulate and control societies. It reduces human responsibility to the effect that "God" controls everything, and in turn awful crimes can be justified in the name of Divine Pursuit. The religious myth is the most powerful device ever created, and serves as the psychological soil upon which other myths can flourish."

The second part of Zeitgeist is entitled "All the World's a Stage." In this section of Zeitgeist they show how 9/11 was orchestrated or allowed to happen by elements inside the United States government in order to generate mass fear, initiate and justify the War on Terror. They show how the government had advance knowledge about the attacks and deliberately hit the World Trade Center buildings which underwent a controlled demolition. At the Pentagon, there was also no plane wreckage found whatsoever but indications that it was a missile that hit the Pentagon. One of the best movies to prove that the Bush administration had a greater agenda than we ever imagined.

The third part of Zeitgeist is entitled "Don't Mind the Men Behind the Curtain" and shows how the past three wars of the United States were intentional for economic gain. The Federal Reserve Bank had forced the United States to become involved in the wars, not to win but to sustain conflict, as it forces the U.S. government to borrow money from the bank, increasing the profits of the international bankers. They also show how the main goal is One World Government and how they want ever human implanted with a RFID chip so that they can monitor everyone and control the world.

Zeitgeist: Addendum

Zeitgeist Addendum is the sequel to Zeitgeist the movie. The Director and writer, Peter Joseph, describes the point of the movie stating: "The failure of our world to resolve the issues of war, poverty, and corruption, rests within a gross ignorance about what guides human behavior to begin with. It addresses the true source of the instability in our society, while offering the only fundamental, long-term solution."

The first part of Addendum continues from the third part of the original movie. It describes the process of the Federal Reserve Bank system and shows how money is essentially created. Society is manipulated into economic slavery through debt-based monetary policies and then we are forced to submit to employment in order to pay off our debt.

In the second part of Addendum they have an interview with best selling author John Perkins, based on his book Confessions of an Economic Hit Man. John tells us how he was involved in the CIA, as well as other various corporate and political entities, to undermine or corrupt foreign regimes that put the interests of their populations before those of transnational corporations. If there is a country out there who's main interest is helping the people in that country and not helping the corporations of the world, they will give them a chance to change and become on their side and if they deny then they will shut them down and put someone in charge of the country who will be for the corporations of the world.

In part 3 and 4 in addendum it discusses how we can shift from the path that we are on now to a much needed change. They discuss the proposal of a recourse-based economy which would create abundance, and be environmentally friendly and sustainable. The primary reason for society's social values ("warfare, corruption, oppressive laws, social stratification, irrelevant superstitions, environmental destruction, and a despotic, socially indifferent, profit oriented, ruling class") is a collective ignorance of "the emergent and symbiotic aspects of natural law." The film recommends many ways that we ourselves can help create the much needed social change. The film closes by asking everyone to "eliminate the divisionary, materialistic noise, we have been conditioned to think is true ... while discovering, amplifying and aligning with the signal coming from our true, empirical oneness."

"We intend to restore the fundamental necessities and environmental awareness of the species through the advocation of the most current understandings of who and what we truly are, coupled with how science, nature and technology (rather than religion, politics and money) hold the keys to our personal growth, not only as individual human beings, but as a civilization, both structurally and spiritually. The central insights of this awareness is the recognition of the Emergent and Symbiotic elements of natural law and how aligning with these understandings as the bedrock of our personal and social institutions, life on earth can and will flourish into a system which will continuously grow in a positive way, where negative social consequences, such as social stratification, war, biases, elitism and criminal activity will be constantly reduced and, idealistically, eventually become nonexistent within the spectrum of human behavior itself."
